About northland aviation

Jon and Karla McIntyre established Northland Aviation Services in 1986. They started with and still maintain the goal of providing the best quality service possible at a reasonable cost. The business has evolved over the years. When they started out the main business came from performing aircraft maintenance and repairs for Cessna aircraft and bush planes of all types. The next step was to become the preferred maintenance base for many part 135 operators and various agencies.

Northland Aviation Services became a Cessna Single Engine service station in 2001. The affiliation with Cessna has allowed Northland access to factory- training for all the Cessna single engine aircraft and to be able to provide Cessna parts for Alaska. Northland has built one of the largest inventories of Cessna parts in Alaska and it continues grow. Northland also maintains a large inventory of specialty tools. This permits Northland to complete a task for a customer with minimal downtime.

Northland became a Caravan service station in 2010 and has been working hard to provide on-demand maintenance for Alaska's Caravan operators and has built a large and ever-growing inventory of 208 parts.

The latest development occurred in 2012 when Northland became the Cessna authorized sales representative (ASR) for all Cessna propeller aircraft. This is very exciting as the complete Cessna propeller line hasn't been represented in Alaska for decades. This has allowed Northland to develop new relationships with the Alaskan aviation community. It has been a very fulfilling yet challenging experience so far!
